Can you bring anything into being? The Law of Attraction says you can!

By Vera Remes

Manifestation, also referred to as the Law of Attraction—the simple definition in spiritual terms is “if I think it, it will be.”  If I could prove to you that manifestation really works, then would you believe in it?  As your belief deepened, manifestation would work easier and better for you.

That’s what I am setting out to do.  To prove to the uninitiated that something I believe in deeply, mostly on faith, exists for me, and for them.

There is scientific basis for believing in manifestation.  The best scientific support I have found  is Quantum Therapy, as demonstrated by the Double Slit Experiment.  This experiment on inanimate matter demonstrates when an observer is added to the mix, the results of the experiment differ than the results occurred without an observer.  This Youtube video meant to teach the concept to children, does a great job of explaining how this happens.  Since I like cartoons and feel like a four year old when it comes to Quantum Mechanics, watching it helped me grasp the concept fully.  Check it out: Proof of Mind Over Matter – The Double Slit Experiment – Physics, Dr. Quantum.

For further reading, this study, and a more recent 2017 review and study offer further scientific proof of this amazing phenomenon of quantum theory.

Law of Attraction in a nutshell:

Matter, like marbles, energy and liquid, can display the characteristics of both particles (ie: marbles scattered on a board) and waves (think ripples in a pond).  When marbles are shot through a barrier with one slit, it forms an outline of a slit when they hit the wall behind the barrier. Figure 1.

Figure 1. Marbles shot through a single slit make an outline of a single slit.

Similarly, as the marbles are shot through two slits, they form an outline of two separate slits.

However, when a wave of water is shot through one slit, it forms a wave on the wall with the strongest concentration in the middle forming the outline of a slit on the wall.  Looks the same as the marbles shot through one slit.  Figure 2.

Figure 2. When waves/water are sent through a single slit, their strongest point hits the wall in the same spot as the row of marbles.

When a wave of energy is shot through two slits, the waves overlap each other and cancel out at certain points. The pattern on the wall forms several outlines of the slit, with the strongest in the center, growing weaker as the energy cancels each wave out.  Figure 3.

Figure 3. As a wave of water is sent through two slits, they create a pattern of varying intensity on the wall.

When we shoot electrons—ie: particles of matter, like the marbles— through two slits, they should form the outline of two slits on the back wall.  Wrong, instead they behave like waves when it hits a board behind the barrier.  The board looks just like Figure 3.

Enter the observer.  When the same experiment is being observed/measured, the electrons being shot through two slits go back to forming the outline of two slits. The act of watching changes the outcome of the experiment.  In other words, the observer changes the outcome.  At the end of the day, pioneering physicists, such as Max Planck who originated quantum theory, regard consciousness as “fundamental” and matter as “derivative from consciousness”  [Radin 2012]. Meaning all things are derived from our consciousness. Matter starts as an idea—we have to think it for it to be.

Eugene Wigner, a physicist and mathematician, said, “it was not possible to formulate the laws of quantum mechanics in a fully consistent way without reference to consciousness.”  which shows that observation, “not only disturbs what has to be measured, it produces it.” [John Archibald Wheeler, Wojciech Hubert Zurek, “Quantum theory and Measurement.”]

Experiments, some government sponsored, in Psychokinesis, CIA-Initiated Remote Viewing, the Water Crystal Experiment, and Teleportation, all involve the effect of energy on outside matter.  I have already blogged about experiments in this area in my blog titled “Self-renew with Shamanism.”   You can also read about these experiments in depth at collective-evolution.com, a community dedicated to providing transformation through health, spirituality and sustainability; and at Life Coach Code.

I decided to try a variation of the Water Crystal Experiment myself.  I put cooked rice in two containers. A similar experiment by school children, I’m saying “Thank You” to one jar and “You Fool” to the other for thirty days.  I’m on day 15 now.  After 30 days, the rice in the jar that was addressed as “You Fool” should be rotten, and the other, fine.  I’ll let you know what happens.

From speculation to reality

Although a believer in manifestation, why should I try to convince you?  Why can’t you prove to yourself that manifestation really works?  I am reading a book titled, “E2: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality,” by Pam Grout.  Amazon’s description of the book says:

“E-Squared could best be described as a lab manual with simple experiments to prove once and for all that reality is malleable, that consciousness trumps matter, and that you shape your life with your mind. Rather than take it on faith, you are invited to conduct nine 48-hour experiments to prove there really is a positive, loving, totally hip force in the universe.”

As I read the book, I’m trying each experiment. By the time this blog runs, I’ll have a pile of evidence, one way or the other.  As of this date, I’ve completed the first experiment, “The Dude Abides Principle” (Think “The Big Lebowski” movie).  It’s based on the premise that there is a force in the universe (God, Creator, Spirit, or higher power) responding to our vibrations, whether  positive or negative. In her book, Gout talks about the Field of Potentiality–the FP.  FP is basically a field around you that consists of what things are potentially possible for you and your life. (Quantum Theory again. Sorry.)  The field represents the Higher Power.

In this first experiment, ask for a blessing and devote the next 48 hours to looking for that evidence.  You don’t get to specify the blessing. You just need to look for it and expect it! The point of this experiment is to prove to you that nothing is impossible and no situation is hopeless.

Real life examples of manifestation success

Here’s what happened to me when I tried the experiment. I asked emphatically for a blessing, and I starting waiting.  I thought about it quite a lot, wondering how I would tell when this blessing happened.  After two days it hit me like a ton of bricks.  Unexpectedly, I needed an additional  $1,000 within 30 days to continue a certification program which I already invested $1,000 in.  If I didn’t continue, I would lose all the credits I previously acquired, since completion was time sensitive.  Two days after starting The Dude Abides Experiment, I got an email from an organization I volunteer for.  It would foot the expense for the additional courses, travel and lodging—more than $800.00.  Wow!  I guess this stuff works like I always thought.

Many have read Pam Grout’s book and tried these experiments. Theoretical Quantum Physicist, Amit Goswami, PH.D, wrote an article about ‘E-Squared” proclaiming, “We now have a science of spirituality that is fully verifiable and objective.” .

Spiritual intuitive, Reiki practitioner and empath, Lindsay Curtis, shares her personal experience in her blog, The Daily Awe.  After asking for $10,000.00 in another experiment from the book, she received a $10,000 government credit for child care. Not exactly cash in hand, but she was satisfied.

A while back, I knew a woman who kept a holy card on the dashboard of her car.  Every time she needed a parking space she took the card in her hand and “prayed” for one.  She always seemed to get her spot. I was horrified.  God has better things to do, I thought, than procure her a parking space.  Now I realize that she was merely creating her own reality in the only way she knew how–prayer.

Create Your Own Reality

I’m not a Law of Attraction expert, but I believe if we keep a positive outlook, good things will happen.

I can’t wait to finish all the experiments in Pam Grout’s book.   I’m in the middle of creating my own reality in all things now.     I look forward to reading emails from Abraham Hicks each day that remind me all things are possible.
