Mind Key can help you start up your business
By Lizbeth Fabian
Starting an online presence can be hard. As a writer in this constantly developing tech world, you have to make use of any resource available. You also have to build yourself a platform where you can share your work. And although many writers hate being a cliché, the best way to build your image is (drumroll)… a blog! I know, cringe, right? The idea of belonging to the endless list of bloggers also stressed me out. But I learned not to be afraid thanks to Mind Key’s very own Danielle Rose.
Start-Up Services
Mind Key offers many wonderful services and products for businesses, one of them being a Start-Up service. Mind Key can help you start or relaunch your own website and move toward getting connected to the outside world. It’s a big step! But with Danielle, this big step was broken down into many little pieces. Accomplishing this goal felt like a breeze.
Our first step in my Start-Up session was to create a clear image on how I wanted my site to represent me. I had to ask myself “who do I want to be?” Of course, I want to be cool, unique, and in-the-know, but the most important selling point of my site is for me to be myself, and how that can be shown through my content. With that in mind, Danielle guided me through the basics: color-scheme, content, organization, and social media.
Selling Point
In order for me to sell myself, I have to know what I want. That way I can bring in the demographic that can best relate to me and my work. This was a major part of our session that Danielle really helped me through. I’m just a small voice in a sea full aspiring writers just like me, but I was able to find my own definition and unique touch to my platform. If I can do it, you can too!
About Mind Key Start-up Services
Danielle is a very knowledgeable a patient person. I thought it was going to be a quick meeting, only covering the basics of start-ups. But Danielle really went hands on about what I can do to improve the site. I have difficulties pinpointing an idea or thought and she worked right around that so I could know exactly what I want for my site and how to get it. I now have a clear view on how a website can work and what I can do with the many ideas that came up during my session.
Danielle is patient, kind, and allows your ideas to breathe, giving them a better light as your trying to figure out your brand.
